our history
History & Harmony
The Southeast Alabama Regional Chapter Choir (SARCC) was birthed from a divine calling to unify the voices of the Wiregrass and beyond. Founded as a proud branch of The Gospel Music Workshop of America, our chapter carries forward the monumental legacy of Rev. James Cleveland.
Our mission is to serve as a regional sanctuary for gospel excellence. We bridge the gap between the national movement and our local communities, ensuring that the soulful authenticity of Southeast Alabama gospel remains a vibrant, living ministry for generations to come.
